Ata Invest is a full-service, Istanbul-based securities firm serving a wide range of retail and institutional clients, both domestic and international. Established in 1991 as Ata Securities, the name was later changed to Ata Invest in 1998.

Ata Invest takes its first name from the Ata Group - specifically from Ata Construction. Specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects, Ata Construction undertook one of Turkey’s largest projects to date - the US$ 2 billion Atatürk Dam that underpins Turkey’s Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP). Ata Invest was established by one of the founding members of Ata Construction, the Kurdoğlu Family.

Ata Invest strives to become one of the premium investment and brokerage houses in Turkey’s capital markets. The Company seeks to distinguish itself through its strategic vision, innovation, professional management and prudent market advisory services supported by one of the strongest research and technology teams in Turkey.

Between 1994-1999, Ata Invest focused on three main processes: brokerage, asset management and corporate finance. In 2000, the newly created financial service companies pursued distinct business plans aiming to develop the most competitive business strategy in Turkey. Moving forward, the Ata Finance Group intends to focus on a multi-channel sales service mix.
