Ata Investment Trust

The Ata Finance Group, an exceptional combination of financial service companies managed on accepted global standards, to include Ata Invest, Ata Online, Ata Asset Management and Ata Investment Trust.

Ata Investment Trust was established on March 20, 1997 and became operational on May 27, 1997 after forming its first equity portfolio. The Company, having begun with a registered capital of TL 5 trillion and paid-in capital of TL 250 billion, expanded its capital to TL 7,946,241 billion in 2007 through new stock issuance in cash. On October 1, 1997, a 49% share of Ata Investment Trust was offered to the public and its shares began trading on the Istanbul Stock Exchange (ISE) on October 13, 1997. Now it’s open to public %87 share.

Ata Investment Trust was formed as a closed-end mutual fund with its investments evenly distributed among equities and fixed income securities. In 2007, it carried an equity portfolio equal to 50% of its total assets with the remaining 50% invested in short-term repo transactions and T-Bills.

Among the preferred sectors whose stocks are included in the portfolio, financial services , holdings and energy sectors have received priority. In deciding on the investment alternatives, special attention has been given to the results of the fundamental and macro-economic analysis conducted by the Research Department of Ata Invest. The advisory and research work of both Ata Invest and Ata Investment Trust were largely instrumental in making correct investment decisions and led to the formation of future investment strategies.
